Trojans Unite
DSU Athletic Complex
Dakota State University football fans got something extra to cheer about during halftime of the 2019 DSU Ag Bowl game. PREMIER Bankcard CEO Miles Beacom and his wife Lisa announced they, along with First PREMIER Bank and PREMIER Bankcard, were donating $10 million toward a new athletic complex.
The donation was the lead gift for the Trojans Unite campaign, a $90 million fundraising effort to improve current athletic facilities and build a new indoor/outdoor complex on the Madison, South Dakota, campus. Miles, a DSU cross country and track athlete, says the university gave him the tools he needed to compete in the business world, and he’s thrilled he and Lisa can give back to the school that gave him so much.
